what can i do with a liberal arts major?

i'm going into my second year of college and i still have NO idea what direction i want to go in. my interests are all over the place. i'm an artist and was thinking about a fine arts major until i realized it was more of a hobby then a career path. i love sociology, but i don't want to be a teacher (which i hear is one of the only jobs you can go into with a sociology major). i was thinking about maybe being a substance abuse counselor. all i know is generally, i want to go into a field where i can help people. would a liberal arts major be a smart major for me? any advice or suggestions on what major i should choose?
 
Unfortunately not much. If you like working people a few things to consider are Social Work and Psychology - especially if you want to be a Counselor of any sort. This is what I would recommend.
