...a new puppy that lives indoors? My husband and I live in my parents basement and want a puppy but my family don't allow us to have one for just one reason... My brother owns a Husky which lives right outside the basement. My family claim that the Husky gets jealous or depressed if another dog is living indoors. They say this because a year ago my sister, who lives above us, got a puppy and the Husky lost his appetite and lost interest in playing because he noticed that there was another dog living indoors with my family. So now I cant have a puppy of my own because they're afraid that the Husky will get all depressed or jealous and might even get worse than before. How can I prevent the Husky from being jealous if I ever get a puppy to live indoors?
