I have a blue beta fish and it just sits at the bottom of the tank and doesn't move. It's not dead---if you shake the bowl, he'll get up and swim around for a bit and then just sink down to the bottom and sleep again.
As far as I know, this isn't normal for a beta fish. I have the sneaking suspicion that it's sick, but I have no idea what to do. Also, it barely eats and the area around its gills are kinda grey.
Any advice?
Yeah, it's just in a little fishbowl the size of my head. That's probably the problem.
