I have a Sega Genesis and the power cord is really loose and I know it is most likely the port to which the adapter connects to...is there any way to fix this? Could I possibly stiffen the port?

why do you want to play a sega genesis when theres like xbox 360 and ps3. or you could build your own gaming computer.

You could try taking apart the console and seeing if you could glue everything back in place to stiffen it up. If that doesn't work I would say the best thing to do is pick up a new Genesis. Sega no longer repairs them, but they're fairly cheap to buy now.

that must be a common issue, i have the same problem with mine. you could maybe try replacing the jack, it probably wouldn't be easy. you'd have to make sure that you found one for the same voltage.good luck

It would probably be cheaper to buy a used one on eBay than try and fix a broken one.
