(I know it's in the wrong category just hoped someone would see it here!)
Hey! Well basically I want to know how I can boost my confidence in school and not be afraid to talk to others by even asking them a simple question. I'm in year 10 now and even if I have to go to a detention or get a letter from a teacher I'll persuade one of my friends to come with me. At home I'm a BIGMOUTH! That's what my family call me and I have a lot of confidence at home but at school I barely talk :| even in class to answer a question or talk to people in class. I only talk to my friends, that's it. What can I do to boost my confidence? Often people say join clubs and stuff but the clubs I join are with my friends and I often stay with them because there's only one or two other people I don't know who are in the clubs. Get me? Some people say it's anxiety and that I should see a doctor... Should I because every time I leave my home to go out I'm in my little comfort zone and am really nervous to come out it because I often think "what will people think about me?" I've been part of lots of groups which are meant to boost your confidence but I've found they haven't... Should I see a doctor? And if yea what do I tell him briefly?
