how to get along with hubby? Hi everyone its been a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time since I have been on yahoo answers.I have been really on a rollar coaster trying to adapt to and understand my hubby who is from Upper Egypt,(both of us are currently in the states)we have now entered our 6th month of marriage.To this day I am only begining to understand a few things about him.Our neigbors that share our apartment complex with us currently are Egyptians,I do not exagerate when I say I never see or hear either of the egyptian women who live in this place,occassionally i hear their babies,but I never see the women.My hubby says thats the way Egyptian wives are expected to behave,to be never seen or heard and I should try to be more like that,being busy in the home.I see the men a few times,coming and going,but I never see their wives.I find it really really strange.Can someone explain this to me?Being raised in USA,I dont really understand.And I keep having probs because of misunderstandings.I love my hubby but I am lost about understanding him or what he needs from me,we have really had allot of ups and downs.I just need some advice.
