I moved into my new council flat 8 weeks ago, and i feel harassed by the couple downstairs, they are leaseholders, and i live above them in a conversion house--when i moved in their was a leak from my flat that has now been rectified, but since then ive had nothing but complaints from them about everything.
The floorboards creak, and i need a new carpet, but cannot afford one on £50.00 a week, so im chasing up the council to help but to no avail at all, i have Social anxiety and panic attacks that cause me to become very worried very quickly, all i do is tip toe around the flat and avoid parts of the house, playing music is a no no, and i have earphones to use for my TV, the lady is very moany and petty and gives me filthy looks all the time, and they seem to be very quiet all the time, that is unsettling at times, but the carpet is the main issue, they have written complaints to the council and fabricated things about me they have listened to my private phone calls and tried to relay what ive said back to me, i have no visitors because of my condition, what can i do about this harassment, and about the letters they are writing about me. the tenant before me was hounded out of his house by them reporting his disability to the council, because he couldn't fight back.
