What can I cook for my wife, as a surprise meal?

I have decided to cook my wife a surprise meal, for when she comes home from work (not sure when it will be yet, as I am working like a dog).
It will be beef wellington, but i would like some suggestions as to what to serve it with.
So please help me, thank you.
 
Because the beef wellington can be pretty involved I would keep the rest of the meal fairly simple. The little red new potatoes, tossed with some olive oil, rosemary and salt and pepper and roasted are fairly quick and easy. Some fresh greens, lightly tossed with a vinaigrette for a vegetable. For dessert I would do something that can be prepared ahead of time. Mousse is always good. It's also fairly simple to make a vanilla custard and serve it over fresh berries.
