What can go wrong with cadillac's?

I need to know what can go wrong with them. My mom (who doesnt have much money and is on a very low fixed income) She's thinking of buying an old 1993 Cadillac Seville.4 dr 4.9 ltr
My brother mentioned something about the cradle. He mentioned that because his Park Avenue had a bad craddle. This one will have the same problems.
I live in an area where the roads are saulted with the liquid sault. I guess that eats up your cars sooner. Has there ever been an engine that has fallen out while driving.? What other things can go wrong?
 
Engine don't ussally fall out without there first being some signs of somthing wrong. as amatter of fact i don't think a engine can fall out. Just because your brothers car had certain problems does not mean this one will. keep in mind buying a used car is a gamble , all cars wear out over time and parts need replaced, check the mileage if it has low mileage it should be fine. another factor is how the previous owner drove the car. Good Luck take someone who knows alittle about cars when you go to buy it. If they say walk away from it then do it.

I have one that I drive in the winter when, here in Ohio, there is lots of salt. My husband and I have never had a problem with it.
