Before you get too worried about anything it may just be old gas if you just got the bike. I have just ran a 1/3 bottle of octane booster in bikes that have just started to miss and it clears up the problem 75% of the time. It's not the octane jump that clears the problem up but rather the detergents in the octane booster that clean the fuel system and at about $4.00 for a bottle you cannot go wrong giving it a try first.
