What can cause a electrical shut down in a 1066 Ford Pickup?

What would cause a electrical shut down all at once of the whole car in a 1966 Ford Pick up.

We checked the battery and cylanoid. It start by jumping the cylanoid across.

Could it be in the ignition?

What can it be that it can cause the whole car to shut down electronically.
