I entered a contest that was listed as a 'Celebrity look alike COSTUME contest." It was out of town so I called to make sure it would be judged by a panel and not applause. I'm sure everybody knows how that works, it ends up being a 'who has the most friends here tonight' contest. So the manager assured me there would be a judging panel. I put a lot of effort into my costume and even had to drive out of town to attend this event which the ended up making judged by applause at the last minute. I was the only person there in costume, I lost to 3 people wearing jeans and t-shirts. I was from out of town and didn't have all my friends there. Is there anything I can do about this injustice?
What can be done about false advertising about a judged contest?
