my sister joined the navy and shes at boot camp and i wanted to know what we/ of we could send her something. or if we did send anything would she get in trouble and would they throw it away.

No food, no money, no personnel items.

You can send letters, make them upbeat. Pictures are okay, keep them small. She is working at the hardest level she ever has. Let her know you support and love her.

If you can, try to be there for her graduation, (PIR). It will be one of the proudest moments of her, and your families life.

On an odd note, use a black ink pen when writing her. At night, their "ship", (barracks), will be lighted by a red light. Black ink can be seen best when they reread the letters in their bunks.

You need to send her enough cookies to give out to her platoon! Also, a few DVD's, pictures of her boyfriend in a very sexy position for her to keep in her pocket!

Don't send her anything because in book camp she has very little personal storage space.

Things you can send her are letters and cards of encouragment. A book of stamps also comes in handy.
