I'm planning on getting a dog of my own soon and need help on choosing a breed, as their are so many to choose from! Just a background check for you all, dogs are no stranger to me. I've owned them, trained them, and showed them my whole life. I've had experience with all sorts of breeds and I love studying dog behavior, as well as watching The Dog Whisperer. 
With that in mind, here are some more things about me that will help you help me:
*I love medium/ big dogs, but really any size is fine with me.
*I like dogs who have an "off" button. I'm not an athlete.
*For exercise, I prefer throwing a frisbee or a ball around for a dog.
*Any coat type is fine, but I do prefer shorter hair.
*I want a fairly quiet breed.
*I live in the country right now, but I'll be moving soon into a small house with a roommate and a cat.
*The dog has to be friendly with people, yet is a good watch dog and won't just lay there if someone knocks on the door.
