I am looking to get a puppy but am unsure what breed I should look into. I really like the look and build of pit bulls but my boyfriend is uncomfortable with their reputation. Are there any breeds that are medium sized (willing to look at a smaller size as well) that are a strong, good-looking dog without being "girly?"
