I have to say Thunderheaders slip ons. I ditched my V&H true duals and went with V&H headers and Thunderheader slip ons and gained several horse and more torque. After hearing about the before and after dyno sheets at the shop I got my motor/cam etc work done at (Markum's in Pendleton, IN) I am a huge believer in Thunderheaders. The sound in 3rd gear was almost too much at first, but after the first couple hundred miles they got a little quieter....or I got deafer! LOL

I like vance and hines, bit for a less expensive slip on wild pigs are a good choice.

I 'like the tone of my '09 Sreamin' Eagle slip-on's. I just wish they were a bit louder.

However you asked...great traditional deep HD sound...the original SE 65115-98B's or the new SuperTrapp SE which are the exact same pipe as the 98B's.

Great acceleration sound, and a mellow cruising sound that is radio friendly.

Bassani megaphone slip-on's or Thunderheader slip-on's will give you that deep sound.

I recently put a set of Screamin Eagles on my Ultra 2008 love the sound .But can still hear the radio when crusing.
