I'm a recently laid off graphic designer. I'm thinking of take project by project jobs. I need a good scanner / printer for printing proofs. I'm not foolish enough to believe I can print all my items on a laser printer, I'll take the full printing jobs to a printing company. I just want a printer that can print from illustrator vector cmyk files without getting bogged down. Also the scanner has to be good as well.
What brand of printer is good for graphic design proofs?
