I have a wife and a son and i want to join the military but i want to know what branch (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force or Coast Guard) is the best on families and what branch allows you the less time away from you family?

Pretty much with all branches you are going to experience time away from your family. To me, they are all equally good for families.

Air Force because they have cushy bases and benefits. Any service trade is better because they are so needed that you will get a posting almost anywhere instead of on the corner or butt f*ck and no where like other combat trades.

Canadian anyways.

I think that really depends on the job you do. Whatever job you have determines your time. if your with a non deployable unit, then you have more time of course. But you still have training in your company that can cause you to be gone for a few days or few weeks.

army first air force then marines but families can not go on the boats in the navy so i did not consider them. the army and air force are about the same
