What books by Charlotte Bronte do you prefer?

I went to Barnes & Nobles over the weekend and i found two books by Charlotte Bronte and i couldn't decide which one i should buy ...so i ended up buying both: Jane Erye and Villette .Have you ever read any of this books? which one should i read first?

I vastly preferred Jane Eyre. Villette seemed a pale copy with a much less compelling heroine.

I have read both. Although I enjoyed Villette, Jane Eyre was the better of the two novels and is deservedly the most famous.
