Lately I've been looking for something more philosophical and something with more depth. I'm considering "Human, all too Human" but what is another book that you would recommend to me and why?

"About philosophy" It talks about all the different philosophers, their writings and gives an in depth look at the mind of yesterday and the mind of today. It also explains the meaning of philosophy which soooo many people get wrong. It's really an enlightening process, where the wise attempt to draw in the less aware into enlightenment buy asking questions which make the less aware agree with the the aware without even knowing it. A mental judo if you will. It's really fun to do but on yahoo, this is not the case. You have to be face to face and fight the battle. "About philosophy" is the perfect book. Then you can branch off into the individual readings of various philosophers because you'll have the base in mind. have fun with it and i hope you get to use it in real life situations. Like i said, its fun") I hope i didn't confuse you:)

Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder is easy to read and helps you look at and answer some fundamental questions. It also gives you history of philosophy. I read it when I was 18 and loved it. It's quite hefty but it's also used as text book for teenagers in Scandinavia. Check it out
