What book is interesting enough to read?

I am looking for a good book to read. I like romance and interesting novels but the kind with substance such as Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, 1984 and even the Twilight series. Any recommendations? I'd like to read a book with literature substance or at least a book that is worth my time.

This is a short book but it's really good. Number the stars. Brave new world is very interesting also.
