What Bike Should I get?

I'm a bigger guy, 6' 2", 240, lookin to get a sports bike, first one, so I'm not lookin for somethin too powerful, but the problem with that is a lot of the less powerful bikes are pretty small, and i look pretty silly on a small bike, any suggestions for a good lookin bike, not too small but also not too powerful, like in the 250-500 cc range, maybe a 600. Also nothin too expensive
