What bike rack should it get?

I planing on taking a trip with my friend to CA (i live in pa) and we want to make this a fun trip by stoping at each bmx park we can. The intention is to race at the CA national so were planing on carring are race bikes in the trunk but were taking our street bikes for the parks and we need a sturdy bike rack for like 2 bikes. the car were using is a.. 2002.. (I think) ford taurus with a stock spoiler. thanks for your help
 
SARIS Bones will fit any car and can fit two or four bikes safely and will fit over any spoiler system.
 
I went with a hitch rack. I got a class 2 hitch for my car. I looked at Xport, Yakima, and Tule. I chose Xport because it was on sale for about 1/3 the price of the others. The others were a bit better, but not so much better to be worth 3 times the price. YMMV.

I rejected a trunk lid rack because I just got a new car a few months ago. I scratched up my old car by using a trunk lid rack.

I decided on a hitch rack because I didn't like having to lift my bike up to the top of the car after a long ride. I think hitch racks are also safer and more secure.
