what bands do you find boring?

A lot of acoustic stuff. I just want to jump into the recording studio and start screaming and plugging in everybody's insturments.
 
I dunno, I find Coldplay and the Dave Matthews Band to be very boring, but that's probably because the only two radio stations that come in good by my house are Adult Contemporary and at any given moment a song by either band is playing when you turn on the radio.
 
I now hate you.
Dream Theater boring, you obviously can't see the all the work and technique going into this anything but boring music.

Do you find Fall Out Boy exciting?

I'm giving my opinion on them, I'm saying that I know they aren't too ground breaking but they still make damn enjoyable music.
 
Well, Slowdive generally have a 'spacey, dreamy' sound so don't get your hopes up ;) . Shoegaze classics usually separate people; I've not much of a care for the more dream-pop side of shoegaze myself, but that's just who I am.

As for modern shoegaze, I find it's never exceptional, but it's rarely poor. Classic shoegaze is often one or the other; whereas modern never disappoints but never truly surprises/excites me either.
