hi. i would just like to air my views about the megrahi release on cokmpassionate grounds. im sure those victims would have liked to go and die in the arms of their families but that didnt happen.the desicion is completely idiotic. n the fact that the evidence is shady doesnt even come into it because when they convicted him i they wer sure he did it so he should have somplete his sentnce.the minister of justic Kenny mckaskill was interviewd and when asked why, he said because the scottish justic system is moral.n that was all he went on about htroughout the interview. its weird how you do an act on moral basis then go n boats about how moral you are(!) (sarcasm)
if the people who would run the scottish government should scotland get independance are anything like McAskill then the country will fall to pieces in a matter of minutes after being handed responsiblity.
im a 14 year old girl in scotland and even i can see the desicion was not appropriate.
however, the desicion WAS for scotland to decide and America should not "condemn" the desicion as a "mistake". with all due respect to president obama, what will it take for people to get it in their heads that it is NOT America's job to police the world.
