Personally I dont like it.
Not only can we not afford it but I am a bank teller and a Marine Reservist but I see these elderly people come with checks that are bigger then mine and Im a full time teller.
So here I am working my butt off getting less then someone who does nothing all day!!
Im 20 years old and struggle every month to pay the bills and keep the lights on here they are taking my taxes for a Soc Seq. Also most likely my generation will never see a penny of Soc. Seq back when we are older. Not only are they "stealing" from us younger people because we probably wont see a cent back but that generation and the generation right under them that controlls the government is running us into debt that we have no choice in!
Thomas Jefferson once said that debt is slavery. That every generation should repay all debt before they are gone. He went on to say that Americans that have to pay off debt that they had no vote in should be illegal and considered slavery. This is not happening. So by Thomas Jefferson's logic we are slaves!

Ya ten years from now i will be 30. Unless they lower the retirement age to 29..Now you know thats not gonna happen!
