What are your thoughts on animal testing?

Hi :) Me and my friend (when were older) wanted to make an effort to try and stop animal testing. (We know its not going to work, but were doing it anyway =])
We just wanted to know your thoughts :) Thanks x
 
It's very cruel

ALTHOUGH, I got this mentioned to me in health class..

There was a testing on rats to see how people get addicted to crack cocaine and drugs. And they test drugs on them to see how it turns out

You really wouldn't want that on a human right? Take 10 humans, tell them "HEY I GONNA GET YOU HIGH ON SOME COCAINE AND YOU HAVE UNLIMITED AMOUNTS AND THEN WE GONNA SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO UUU"

Of course not, it's cruel when they test on more knowledgable animals like rabbits, cats, dogs, etc.

I'm not so sure about rats though...

The only time I think it's okay is if it's for medical reasons. Not makeup reasons. If any makeup brand "NEEDS" to test on animals, it's probably bad for your face.
 
Cruel. Very very cruel. And at the same time, it's not all the necessary, I'm pretty sure people can live without new make up products every now and then...
 
i think it is horrible and good for you for wanting to do that.
ideas to help this: become a vegetarian/maybe even a vegan, never buy animal tested products, make a donation to PETA
