I don't get the History channel, but I see it occasionally at my son's place.

My personal opinion is that someone is being Satan's advocate, in most programs !

May God bless you as you study His Word

I bet I could refute some of it... Then I could find a site that refutes it... Then I would scoff as I went to go get some yogurt...

...the holiday season? History Channel aires the series, "Banned from the Bible" occasionally throughout the year. The series looks at scriptures, and verses, and questions and criticizes specific christian beliefs. The series has been on television over the past couple days, ironically during Christmas season. Some consider it innapropriate, while others insist on airing the series especially during the holiday season, to provoke thoughts on the subject. What do you think?

The greatest threat to organized religion is truth and fact and they will do anything to keep you from hearing it. Isn't it a convenient little ploy that they have going, only this silly little collection of preposterous blarney is true and every thing else is falsely planted by satan to deceive you. I've even seen written chronicles of how satan actually planted fossils in the earth to deceive mankind into believing false concepts. Truly these leaders of religion could likely con P.T. Barnum
in a game of liars poker.

I love the History Channel and think that for the most part it paints a pretty accurate portrait of our past.

. I have seen some of that series and I found it very interesting. I found myself thinking that there's a lot of information that i have never had access to. And it makes me doubt the belief that the bible I was raised on is more the word of god , than of men. I just try to follow the ten commandments and chalk the rest up to here say since those are the rules god gave men.

I think the devils hard at work and will try and keep this on the air since its that time of year.

oh well times are going to get worse then some show on t.v. be ready.

I personally think its great....but the timing of its airing is begging for trouble.... ;P

The History Channel is like every other channel. They have their own agenda to push. Just because it is named the "history" channel doesn't mean it true, lol.

I think that the History Channel and the National Geographic Channel are both guilty of psuedo-scholarism. Very often I sit there and see them spew out their opinions as if they were facts. Do yourself a favor and study these areas yourself. Read both the pros and cons and make your own decisions. This is just sensationalism for television dollars. Right up there with "The Tomb of Jesus" and "The Bible Code."

Christmas has nothing to do with Christ.

I couldn't care less when the air the show. I've seen it, probably twice, and I already know that there are plenty of other gospels left out of the bible because they didn't meet the criteria the men who compiled it wanted.
