What are your predictions for the vote in the Senate on the Climate Change Bill?

Now that the House has surprisingly passed the Climate Change Bill, it will head to the Senate, where no one has said a word about it as of yet. The House and Senate are currently on Fourth of July break, and reconvene on Monday, July 6th. So, this gives us political junkies plenty of time to predict what the outcome will be.

So, folks, what will be the final tally? If you could add a few words about your pick, let us know!!

It is going to pass with flying colours. Al Gore and the Green-Fraud Brigade are paying these people off as always. Think about how much money there is to be made off of this and these people DO NOT care if the average person is screwed over.

Some of us on Y/A have been talking about this for a while. What is with most people not caring about this ridiculous tax until now?

After John Boehners speech on the floor today I'm surprised any of those bums voted for it.

I feel like people in the senate are much more closely watched than the members of the house. So if this is true the people voting for it will have committed political suicide.

Usually the voice of reason in Congress is the House. I hope Inhoff is right on this one. If this bill goes thru, I could see a domino effect for the rest of them. Frankly, I don't hold hope. The Dems have been nit-picking us towards a socialist country for generations. I think it's their time.

Let's cross our fingers that it's not!

There's an intense amount of pressure to pass this piece of crap.

I really hope they shoot it down. This bill is insane. With what they tacked onto it, and then the entire mess it will put the taxpayers in, its a joke.

If they pass this, you might as well planning on throwing a lot of bums out of office and look towards repealing it starting in 2010.

No............it will not pass the Senate....WHY? Because we are going to call, fax and e-mail each of them at least five times. If we find one voting yes then we should be prepared to send a few bucks to their opponents around re-election time. We Spoke..........They did not Listen!!!!!!!!!

I'm hoping beyond hope that it won't pass - but even if we bombarde congress 24 hours a day until the vote, I'm afraid some form of it will pass. They may cut out a few things, but the bill itself is poison, and we will all suffer from the affects of it.

Close, but people like McCain will probably be all "MAVERICK" and vote for it. Warner, Lieberman, McCain, Snowe..... looks like it has a chance of passing.

Nutcases like Imhofe will probably drive more to vote for it so they won't end up looking like loons.
