To put simply, the process requires that an embryo is destroyed in order to take stem cells from it.
But do you personally think that this is morally allowable? Should we destroy something that has a potential for life in order to benefit from the research? I know it's in the early stages and we only know a bit (such as it being rejected by the body), but further research may produce more information on medical breakthroughs.
