I ama former chef and moved back here 5 years ago, lived here during the late 70's when I did my apprenticeship and was here from 87 to 94, now am back for good, I am partial to all the ethnic neighbourhoods, all the Asian, Eastern European, Russian, Jewish (I lived there from 87-94 at Bathurst and Wilson), have been in Cabbagetown, the Annex, Forest Hill, North York and back now in the Annex again, I have always tried to stay near the TTC either buses and subways.
I got to many place, even though I took up a vegetarian lifestyle 4 years ago for health reasons, it is funny any place in town, no matter where you go there is something for everyone, I have Jamaican, chinese, Korean and many other when I am out and was never afraid to try something new, like Ethiopian, Portuguese and others.
