Also love Blazing Saddles, War of the WorlRAB (MUCH better than the recent version), the old Godzilla movies, The Land that Time Forgot, the Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes movies. Also hammer stuff like The Fall of the House of Usher and The Pit & the Pendulum.
 
I haven't seen any of the films in this thread, but I want to give a shout-out to 'whistle down the wind' which hasn't been mentioned, good british film.

A very young Marlon Brando at his very best.

Like his iconic speech,he could have had class,he could have been a screen legend,he could have been somebody.But sadly he ended up as an enigma that promised so much more than he ever delivered.
 
I know the irony in that speech but I think he gave film a incredible amount and was a definite bona fide screen legend.
3 unforgettable characters in Don Corleone,Stanley Kowalski and Johnny.
Plus memorable work on August Moon,Guys & Dolls,One Eyed Jacks,The Men,Young Lions,Apocalypse Now,Last Tango and influencing Pacino,DeNiro,Dean and just about every male actor after 1950.

That's a body of work more than 99.999...% of actors will ever achieve.
