"Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything."

My favourite movies of all time:

- Breakfast at Tiffany's - Just because its such a beautiful story and Audrey Hepburn is so amazing in it. There's something timeless about it all
- Titanic - Because it makes me cry every time and I am such a sap
- Gladiator - This was just awesome, it was done so tastefully and the acting and direction was amazing
- Armageddon - um, Bruce Willis. um, yeah
- Life Is Beautiful - Nothing made me cry more than this. Absolutely breath taking.
- Independence Day - hee, Will Smith. Aliens and violence and patriotism. Its all good
- The Dead Poets Society - aw, the first teacher/student movie. Nothing can outclass it.
- The Breakfast Club - The first movie of its genre. Truly touching, inspirational but still so much fun
- Clueless - rich kids doing stuff with their money and um, the closet? Just true girly fun
- Walk The Line - I love the love story and all the other elements made it a truly great film
- Grease - Old school love. I've watched this movie every year since I was like five
- The Sound of Music - gah, I love this movie so, so, so much. The big family that sings and then escaping from the Nazis and the captain learns to love again, etc
- Forrest Gump - Tom Hanks was spectacular in this movie. Fantastic stuff

Words cannot express how much I adore Little Miss Sunshine, the perfect indie film that truly lives up to its name. The characters are fleshed out, complex, and above all else loveable; I appreciate how the story can have you in hysterics at one moment, and the next thing you know it's breaking your heart. The directors' magnificent ability to blend comedy with genuine poignancy makes this one a rare gem, especially in this day and age.

The movie I bedst cant like to se are da vinci or she's the man in the time off now

Agreed. I thought the plot could have been much better. I don't want to give the ending away, but you can pretty much guess it. Kiera Knightly and Thora Birch have made better movies IMHO...

I convinced my mentore to see this film when it first came out - I told him it was wonderful, and incredibly beautiful - that it would make him laugh, cry, reflect and completely delight him. After he saw it he said I was absolutely right. :D

Of course I bought it on VHS as soon as it came out. I haven't seen it in a while, but you just reminded me that I need to...

By the way - welcome to the boards to all you newbies!
