Emma-Jane Austen.

it was written in the 1800's and is absolutely genius.
old fashioned, but seriously so inspiring.

Something more Modern?(:
The book of luke.

ALSO VERY GOOD.

Two way Street,
Kissed by an Angel
Dark Secrets.

im picky about my books,
so you can expect these to be greatt.

science fiction/some religious science fiction: Ted DeKker!!!
His books are intense and completely full of mind games that make you think and trip out. Plus, they all are connected but not apart of the same series at all. its AWESOME
Also the Mortal Instraments by Cassandra Clair is amazing. Catches you at page one. Its about Shadow Hunters and vampires and demons and warewolves...pretty awesome

Anything by Herman Hesse, for the existentialism thing - makes you feel real deep. Particularly "Steppenwolf" or "Siddharta".

All the early stuff by Charles Bukowski, cuz it's honest, true and real. Bloody hilarious too.

The bible is the best book I ever read, because of its scope and because it has something for everyone.

Tom Wolfe, Paul Ohl..... Just nothing that you buy at the checkout line at the supermarket. Please! Just don't. If it has "NY Times Bestseller" on it, leave it with the rest of the drek.

But go with the classics and you can't go wrong: Dostoevski, Gogol, Zola, Celine, Joyce...

Dark tower series by stephane king. There not horror just a good story and there a 7 books in all. Great writer and people tend to stay away from him because they feel he is all horror but in reality he is just one of the greates writers that have ever lived
