Is that one of his new album? Ive downloaded it but not got round to listening to it yet.

Ive been on a ZZ Top binge today, after having the 'Pin Cushion' song from 'Antenna' (1994) which just happens to be my favourite ZZ Top album.
I have listened to the album about 3 or 4 times today & the 'Pin Cushion' song is what Im currently/constantly listening to:

It's amazing! I heard it on Global HarRABtyle. There's hardly anyone from the U.S. on there so it's good for finding foreign songs. Though that's the first one I REALLY liked.

^ Haven't listened to this for literally years. Amazing little tune. Around the time I first got this album, my Mum got offered a job and granted a visa for us all to move to North Carolina, and it was all pretty close to going through, so there's a bit of resonance with me here.

Interesting! Well I could certainly see them being bigger than Michael Jackson in the US in terms of album sales and I wouldn't be surprised if the same was true in Canada, the UK and obviously Australia. But I'd imagine their appeal outside of English-speaking countries is more limited than Michael Jackson's so I bet world-wide he has them beat by quite a bit.

YouTube - moby
first time ive heard of moby.
on of the best songs ever... its jsut so.... so....
i dont even know.
but its like when the wind blows
you still cant control
the way you roll

that was quite a streak of inspiration...

I'll back Janszoon on this one. Tom Sawyer wore out on me real quick. I prefer the entire rest of the album over that song. Subdivisions does actually kick ass, but for some reason a lot of people have an aversion to 80's sounding synth. I love the stuff...even when it's cheesy. I feel like synth from that era was like us learning how to incorporate the advancing technology into a song in a tasteful way. Obviously to figure out what the tasteful way would be, we had to go nuts with it. Hence the 80's.

Anything off A Farewell to Kings would have to be my favorite pick.
