This song is so depressing. It sounRAB all happy and positive and then you listen to th elyrics and you just want to throw yourself out of a window.

Yeah I have that one! Thats from The Who's Live at the Royal Albert Hall DVD. Itr's a really good DVD if you haven't seen it. There are other special guests as well as Noel which are Kelly Jones, Eddie Vedder, Paul Weller and unfortunately Bryan Adams.

I liked the Small Faces cover too. I actually haven't seen or heard that one before.

Check this one out. It was part of the tour Oasis did for the Stop The Clocks Greatest Hits which was a bit of two fingers up to their label for releasing it in the sense that it was a semi acoustic tour playing mostly B sides and stuff that wasnt even on Stop The Clocks. Plus they left Liam at home and it was just Noel, Gem and Terry Kirkbride who was drummer for the short lived Proud Mary.

Listening to some Zero 7, Moving from The Garden to Simple Things. I usually fall back on this kind of stuff or some post-rock while doing homework that requires concentration.

Oh yeah, I forgot I suggested that to you. I'm glad you took my recommendation and I'm glad you are enjoying them...Duane Allman can tear it up.

I was listening to a bit of Maiden earlier, myself. How can anyone not like Where Eagles Dare? Oh man from the minute the drums kicks in, I have to listen to the rest of the album.

For now, I'm listening to this:

Now, hardcore and emo are usually as far as country is when it comes to my interests...but THIS is how it should be made. Their singer/guitarist is incredibly talented and has an incredibly unique style. They are really progressive and any band that lists Rush as an influence is ok by me.

Do you know where that was filmed RT? Or are you just on a Youtube mish?

I have Weller and Noel Gallagher acoustic stuff from various bootlegs but most of them are shit quality. That one looks as though it went out on TV or is ripped from a DVD or something.

Generation Terrorists and The Holy Bible are the essential Manics albums for sure. Gold Against The Soul comes in third but I can understand that it doesnt quite match up to them in comparison. It's a little polished which the other two were definitely not and its not as strong. It's still a great record though I think, I enjoy listening to it every now and then. JDB's guitar work on that record is probably the best it has ever been.

I'm glad you liked it. The Manics have changed time and time again over the years but if you like that I would recommend the three recorRAB mentioned above - Generation Terrorists, Gold Against The Soul and The Holy Bible.

I used to love Avenged Sevenfold as a teen, and lately I'm really feeling them again. Been listening to pretty much every song on a list for Avenged Sevenfold on song-list.net. Bat Country still pumps me up as much as it used to... I mean, seriously I had it set to play on my stereo as a wake up call when I was sixteen! That song-list.net site keeps tripping up my mind making me remeraber songs that I used to listen to non-stop.
