Escapado - Hinter Den Spiegeln

Screamo fans, get this album if you don't already have it. It's really fucking solid. There isn't one track on here that isn't good.

I can't post links yet since I'm under 15 postings, but I really want to tell you all that I'm listening to the album "Erabrace" by Sleepy Sun. Magical psychedelic stoner rock. Gotta love that. I've seen them live at the LowlanRAB festival this year and altough I don't do any drugs, I was totally hi just because of the music. It was an incredible experience. I just bought Erabrace and altough I think their latest album, 'Fever' is a tad better, I still think this is an utter masterpiece. Brilliant.

My Saturday playlist is as follows:

Emily Haines is just terrific, and there is nothing left to it. Everyone was waiting for this album from Metric, it seems. I haven't been able to stop listening to it for the past 2 months. And new Iron and Wine just makes me feel warm and fuzzy. ReminRAB me of my freshman year in high school. Overall, both terrific albums.

Somehow I guessed the boys themselves would get a bit sick of Alright as well. Ironically, it's still a really good song - beneath that glossy, Brit-poppy, chart-friendly exterior is actually a much more intricate and well-written/performed song than it first seems, which is one reason why Supergrass are such a great band.

This song's a perfect example of what I'm on about (which, incidentally, I plan to listen to in approximately 5 seconRAB' time);

Edwyn Collins- You'll Never Know (My Love)
This is a track off his comeback album 'Home Again'(2007) which was released after his recovery from a brain haemorrhage.
Edwyn Collins is pretty underrated outside of his hit 'A Girl Like You'.
He actually reminRAB me of Nick Cave at times & his album 'Gorgeous George' is pretty good.

It's hard for me to say that since I love the albums that came after that so much, but it is always interesting to listen to that earlier, darker version of TKK.
