What Are you guys doing for Iphone Ringtones?

Im so fucking frustrated with Itunes right now.

Using the default ring because the speaker is terrible anyway

i stole it from fr0ng

1. Open iTunes and find the mp3 you want to convert to a ringtone
2. Right click the song and "Convert to AAC"
3. Right click on the new AAC file and click on "Show In Explorer"
4. Rename the extension from m4a to m4r (ringtone.m4a becomes ringtone.m4r)
5. Double click the new m4r file and it will be added to your ringtones library in iTunes
6. Go back and rename the m4r to an m4a file (ringtone.m4r becomes ringtone.m4a)
7. Play the file from your ringtones library. It will ask you to locate the file.
8. Once you find the file, play it and it will play again in iTunes.
9. Go to your iPhone tab and under ringtones, make sure the ringontes are checked for sync
10. Sync up and enjoy

Sync it with iTunes and they'll go away

Use Ibrickr, itll let you take them off put them on anything. dont have to deal with itunes whatsoever. You can change the Text rings as well, not just ringtones

so i got it to almost work... the song is in the ringtones tab and everything but when i synch it, it says that the ringtone cant be used with my iphone for whatever reason

dont bother with doing it in iTunes, its a pain in the ass. Its real finicky. Judt DL ibrickr, it will do everyting for you and its real simple. Just add the file you want to ibrickr and it converts it and puts it in your ringtone choices on your phone. YOu can also change any other sound on the phone through ibrickr. Itunes only lets you change the Ringontes and thats it.

Have been just changing the Tag info. Now they have changed it again so just have to tweak the scripts a bit and all should be good again.
