and how can you know if your phone is unlocked or not, does it have to do with the sim card.
I bought an IPhone on craiglist, then I putted my Sim Card from my phone and it worked perfect on the Iphone does that mean the Iphone is unlocked
 
Hi try put different sim card in your mobile if it is displays "invalid sim" means your mobile is locked by particular provider. Other wise it accepts other sim card means you iphone is unlocked. You can use with different sim card in your iphone.
