what are those things on speaker boxes called where the air comes out ? it's

its pvc pipe and black spray paint and just to let you know u cant just cut them and put them in there cut to a spacific length and diamitor for a certan Hz (example my bot is 1.4cf with 2 3diamitor 4 inch long ports and is tuned to 45 Hz) oh ya and there called ports
