Just wondering what the things on my face are.

I have quite a lot of small to tiny red/purple "spots" on my cheeks. They aren't raised at all, they havn't actually 'became a spot' in the sense that it gets bigger like a spot and is able to be squeezed - they are just on my skin, almost like they appeared quickly. I've got no idea what they are, but there are quite a lot. They aren't fading very quickly either, maby they are, but it's very very gradual for me to notice a difference. In some areas on my cheeks there are quite a few (about 10 or so) close together which I think makes my face look much worse than it actually is.

Try using a salicylic acid product, either Nutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defence Lotion, or oneof the acne paRAB, such as clerasil or stridex..... this will unblock the pores and resolve prevent any new ones forming. Use twice a day after washing and drying the face.
 
will switching to the nutrogina product cause an outbreak at first for me?

and should i also get a moisturiser with salicylic acid in it?

also, do you know what these things actually are?

they are literally tiny tiny unraised red/purple spots.
