What are these little glass pieces called? (look like flattened marbles)?

They're in games sometimes, (like Mancala) and often used in decoration or mosaiacs. They're flat on one side, and a mound on the other, they're glass and they're around the size of pennies. I want to know the actual name for them. I can't call them beads because they don't have holes or anything. And they're not marbles. What are they?
