What are the ways to prevent Global Warming?

I just wanted to know the various methods for global warming. I recently heard that there is a chemical which depletes atmospheric carbon content. Is this really true and what are other methods that we can follow to prevent Global warming?

Global warming, and cooling, are natural cycles. The ice caps and glaciers have come and gone many times naturally. If you love nature, why try to stop it?

i dont think you can prevent it but probably only slow it down at this stage.

well what you can do to prevent global warming is to
1. Recycle
2. save electricity
3. change your lite bulbs
4. planting
5. turn down heat in winter that helps the climate. aka snow or ice.

Sorry man, it true there are chemical which depleting the earth of the natural resources. And I don't think you can prevent it... but you can help change the amount of depletion. Like buying environmentally sound products, walking or riding your bike rather than driving your car, growing your own food rather than have it drove to your grocery store, don't buy spray can products..etc.
