what are the very best restaurants in London?

There are many exceptional restaurants in london, catering for any taste and any budget, the food review section of Time Out is a reliable guide.

London is awash with great shows, music and concerts. every style is available, high art, Commercial, fringe but again Time out is a good place to look. be sure to check out the National Theatre, Southbank Center (Europe's largest arts center) and the Barbican for a good range of all styles of art.

are you too late or really early?!
there is no point talking about london shows for next december as they might have gone bust by then!
best restaurants?
you could go for the big name chefs, like gordon ramsey's place by the Albert Bridge.
Or Sketch, or The Oxo Tower, any of the Conran Restaurants like Pont de La Tour. Or how about the Power Station, Wapping? Smith's of Smithfield. St John. there are loads.
Just stay away from Leicester Square!
My personal favourite is Club Gascon, in Smithfield - a lot like Heston Blumenthal's food, but in central London.

Depends on what type of food you want to eat and the budget - Chinese, Indian, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, English, etc... The best restaurants are the ones with the Michelen stars and they are the most expensive ones.
