what are the startup times for the new s60 versions?

hi, haven't been able to get an answer in the specific phones threads, so can someone describe the start up times of the new s60's like the E50 and E61/2. thanks.

that was one of the worst things about the 6620 IMO, just wondering if they sped things up.

well imo it was never too long for all the s60 phones that i have owned and used...

i think it also depends on what u have in your phone memory and mmc

N90 - Forever.

N95 prototype - pretty darn fast for S60.

really? it always seemed like a long time to me, esp. when i was at work and trying to restart the thing because it wasn't seeming to reconnect to the network after i was working in underground basements and the boss was waiting on my call.

looks like some of them are getting faster. hopefully someone will comment on the times of the E61 and the E50, the two phones i currently can't get out of my head

Around 18secs for my N73 to turn on and around 8sec to turn off

Start up time on the N73 is much faster than S60 phones of the past, even slightly faster than the N70.

sorry timed it...my n93 is indeed 13-16 secs

N73 is so much better when its running. Startup is still forever. At least going to the call log screen is almost instant. I would only recommend a s60 v3
