I've been with my boyfriend for over three years now. We are both students and have been struggling financially. My boyfriend has been having reservations about what he has chosen to study and now he has been seriously considering joining the military. He has heard of many benefits to joining, specifically financial benefits, and he wants to get us out of our stressful money situation. He also sees some great career opportunities that he wants to take advantage of. I want to support him but I'm terrified of the risks involved. Can anyone help me? More specifically what are the chances of being placed in dangerous situations? How long will I go without seeing him? Is it worth it financially and are the career opportunities worth it?
