what are the pro's and con's of a dodge durango?

not a new one, prob like 93-05
im getting a car for my 16th birthday and i want a durango, but my mom says theyre crappy cars.
but they are relatively cheap (used ones on craigslist are 3,000-5,000 (the most i can spend is 4,000)


i just rly want a small suv for a decent price, any other suggestions?
