What are the pros and cons of a Dodge Challenger?

I want the basic model of the Challenger without many extras. I saw the msrp value of a new one was under 23k. Will it last 300,000 miles if it is driven often, in a garage, and taken care of? Will I need out big bucks in for repairs? Is it good on gas?
 
The pros are its a reliable car, but probably wont last 300,00 miles, crysler is kinda expensive and if its a 6 cylinder it is okay on gas but the mustang is better, the only con i can come up with its gunna be really popular car, the day they came out i saw 2
 
NO dodge will last 300,000 the avger life of a dodge is 160.000 takin care of this is a new car but the cons of them there have less room than camro and pro more power that a mustang
 
I haven't heard good things about Dodge in general. I've been looking at cars to buy and a coworker let me try out her Caliber. It's super cramped inside and she said it gets terrible mileage. I like the look of the Nitro, but it also gets bad gas mileage. My '99 chevy has 105,000 miles and it's falling apart, but my dad's '69 chevy is great. Cars just aren't built to last forever anymore.
 
dodges will last 300 thousand and then some,i cant give you a personal guarantee that the particular one you buy will last 300 thousand but i can say all the ones i own are approaching 250 thousand miles and still going real good,regardless of what you hear about dodges they really are good cars,there's not enough cons about the new challenger to talk about, more pro,s than cons on this car,my neighbor owns an 08 model and loves it,his is an srt-8 model though so its not the best on gas but not the worst either, the base model car is a good car though i test drove one to see,good luck.
