i went to a restaurant with 2 friends we relized we had no money at the end of the meal and the bill was only 30$ we didnt know what to do so we left and planned on going back to my friends house to get money and come back and pay. When we left the restaurnat women cam out and chased us we got in our car and drove away back to our friends house we came back to the restaurant and payed the cops came and our parents also came to the restaurant. This happend on a friday and the cops told us to wait until the next monday to see if she pressed charges we didnt get a call so we assumed it had blown over but today i got a letter asking me to go downtown adn discuss something about defrauding an inkeeper. i know this was really stupid and ive learned my lesson but what are the possible punishments for this "crime"?
