...same refurbished item from Apple? Obviously there are no taxes in Amazon. But still, I hear people say that there are risks when buying refurbished products when they are NOT from actual producers (and this is what I heard from Apple Customer Care too) but I'm not sure I understand what those risks are. Amazon carries the same warranty that Apple gives. When I talked to the Apple Care Professional they told me that refurbished items from Apple are taken care of by Apple Experts but when I asked them "Does that mean refurbished Apple items sold elsewhere doesn't get taken care of by Apple Experts?" I didn't get a clear answer. So I thought I'd ask someone. I'm very well aware that Apple refurbished products are from Apple themselves. But the concern is, when it's sold by a huge and reliable merchant like Amazon themselves for a lesser price do we still have to watch out for risks? If so, what exactly are those risks?
